Whether it’s at big summerfestivals like Lowlands
(NL) or Pukkelpop (BE), or during one of the many tours they did throughout Europe and the States; everywhere Face Tomorrow shows up they leave a big impression with their extremely convincing and intense shows. For over eleven years now the band has been working hard and not without succes; after more then 500 gigs they can surely be called one of Holland’s most succesful live-acts.
But not only on stage the band manages to convince, their previous records ‘For Who You Are’ and ‘The Closer You Get’ get raving reviews all over the world, singles of both records find their way to radio, tv and into the alternative charts, and the band has won several awards. After releasing a live DVD the band recorded their third full-length record ‘In The Dark’ which was released on Excelsior Recordings in the Netherlands at the end of 2008.
First single of the album ‘Overpowered’ got heavy airplay on stations like Kink FM and 3FM and its music video was directed by well-known UK artist / director Peter Greenaway. Reviews of the album were overwhelmingly positive, with dutch magazines like Oor, Music Maker, Nieuwe Revu and VPRO radio choosing In The Dark as album of the week.
And now begins Face Tomorrow chapter 2. After losing a band member and gaining a new one they have been hard at work on writing their fourth record. They’ve already recorded two hit songs with Dutch producer Jochem Jacobs of Textures fame at his new Split Second Sound StudioÕs and are planning to record the rest of the album in June/July 2010.
